The sexiest Artisan mixer ever!

Yes, I just called a kitchenaid appliance sexy! Pictures do not do this beautiful workhorse justice! The candy apple color is simply stunning! If you are in the market for an Artisan 325 watt kitchenaid mixer, this is THE one to have. The 90th Anniversary edition is available for a limited time this year. I absolutely love the glass mixing bowl. Very sturdy and looks like it is made of a pyrex material. The color drew me in, but the glass bowl sold me! Love the measurement marks on the side, so convienient. Not to mention that you can finally see if your ingredients are all mixed up now. But I will also probably buy a metal bowl to go with this as well. Although completely unneccesary. The whisk, paddle, and dough hook are a coated metal, not the standard white coated ones that came with my KA classic. It is important to know that these new attachmants are hand wash only. DO NOT put these in the dishwasher, the coating will come off and become discolored. Although they look very nice, I would have prefered a metal that could be put in the dishwasher, that is my ONLY complaint with this machine, and it's trivial. If this is an issue for you, then buy the white coated ones, as all attachments are universal.
I will add a picture of my new KA so you will see how this shines! Hope you get one too before they are all gone for good!
Edit- I also wanted to write a quick note for those that had a question about the pour shield compatibility with the glass mixer bowl. It will work on this bowl. Just line it up over the spout on the bowl. Also, if you lust for the glass mixing bowl, sometime next year KA is going to sell it as an extra for the tilt head models only. |

We loved brown eyed girl's review and are having fun calling our new mixer 'sexy' and telling it to 'behave'.
We made banana bread right away and it was a cinch.
This is our first kitchen aid.
The color is great... A metallic red.
Also, you can get a free attachment if you order before November 8th.
We bought this to replace our old stand mixer which we destroyed by getting a spatula stuck in the beaters.
I'm so glad it happened. We love the look and quality of the new blender. Wish the attachments were dishwasher safe, but the joy of owning the thing makes up for that small inconvenience. Still, washing them is no problem.
We added ingredients and put them away as we went. There was no mess. It was easy. If you want to buy a kitchen aid, this one looks and works great. |
She loves it!

| Bought this mixer for my young wife for Christmas, slightly worried that I would be committing the classic misogynist sin of buying your wife a kitchen appliance, however I knew she was quite bummed no one got it for us for our wedding last year, so I went all in and put it under the tree. So far she loves it, in one week alone shes made breads, tamales, stuffed cabbage (with home ground meats) and pizza dough. I would highly recommend the purchase of the Beater Blade +, as it really is an improvement over the flat beater. I also bought the three pack of attachments (Strainer, Meat Grinder, and Slicer), and was happy with the performance of the meat grinder. Also don't neglect to purchase the Stand Mixer Bible, its quite informative and gives all of the secrets towards getting the most out of your new mixer. |

I love this stand mixer. First of all, the color is candy apple red and bright and shiny. I won't keep it under a cover-I'll display it on my kitchen counter for all to see. The three attachments are perfect for cakes, breads, cookies, etc. Powerful motor that gets the job done. You won't regret purchasing this beautiful mixer!! |
